Creamy Jalapeño Chicken Pasta

Tender chicken and pasta meet a creamy garlic sauce with a burst of jalapeño flavor and heat. Add the spice mix to taste so you can make the dish as mild or bold as you like.

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1–2 tsp Jalapeño Spice Mix, plus more to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley or scallions, for serving
  • 1 small fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, reaching 165°F (74°C) in the center.
  3. Add the garlic and half the sliced jalapeño to the skillet. Cook for about 30 seconds, then stir in 1 tsp Jalapeño Spice Mix and the heavy cream.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the Parmesan and enough reserved pasta water to make a smooth sauce.
  5. Toss the pasta in the sauce. Taste, then add more spice mix if desired. Top with the remaining jalapeño slices and parsley or scallions.
